There are hundreds of miles of unused old railway lines throughout Pennsylvania. A lot of these rails have been converted into walking and biking trails. Before the old railway can be renovated, the landscape architect or engineer in charge of the design needs a detailed base map. A Rails-to-Trails Survey depicts the location of the old railway, overhead and underground utility lines, and any man-made structures. In some cases, we’ll create necessary easements and provide the associated legal descriptions.
