Rail to Trail Surveys

There are hundreds of miles of unused old railway lines throughout Pennsylvania. A lot of these rails have been converted into walking and biking trails. Before the old railway can be renovated, the landscape architect or engineer in charge of the design needs a detailed base map. A Rails-to-Trails Survey depicts the location of the old railway, overhead and underground utility lines, and any manmade structures. In some cases, we’ll create necessary easements and provide the associated legal descriptions.
