LGS was founded by Steven C. Black and ELA Group, Inc. in 2008. ELA Group, Inc. (ELA) is a full service Landscape Architecture and Engineering firm with offices in Lititz and State College, Pennsylvania that has been in business for over 13 years. The formation of LGS combined Steve’s previous company’s Survey Team and the Survey Team from ELA. Being affiliated with ELA allows LGS to better serve our clients by calling on their Land Development, Engineering, Transportation and GIS expertise. ELA also benefits by being able to provide their clients with internal quality control and seamless continuity throughout the design process.

With headquarters in West Hempfield Township in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, LGS is strategically located minutes from Route 30, enabling quick access to many of our Lancaster, York, Chester, Lebanon, Harrisburg and Maryland clients.
